Meghan King Edmonds of the RHOC has opened up about ‘masturbating’ after her split from her husband Jim Edmonds. Meghan enjoyed shaking up her daily routine by treating herself to a solo night out.
Meghan King Edmonds first made her debut back on The Real Housewives of Orange County in 2015 on the 10th season of the hit show, but she was not a fan favorite due to her annoying personality. She left the franchise after season 12. King Edmonds married Jim Edmonds in October 2014 and has three young children: daughter, Aspen; and twin boys, Hart, and Hayes. Back in June, the couple nearly split after Meghan found out that Jim had sexted with another woman. Meghan revealed in October that she and her husband of five years have called it quits in a lengthy interview detailing what she called an abusive and controlling relationship. After alleging that she had proof of her husband having an affair with their children’s nanny, she claims he blindsided her by serving her with divorce papers.
The newly divorced housewife spoke with The Daily Dish and opened up about how she had started to date herself. Since her husband filed for divorce last October the mother of three had not stepped out into the dating world, unlike her ex-husband who went on vacation with a mystery woman. The RHOC alum took to her Instagram on Jan. 29 to share her views on “masturdating.” King Edmonds shared with her followers that she had just finished a sushi dinner and would be attending a movie by herself.
The reality star continued to joke by saying she was so “modern” because she was dating herself. King Edmonds started to give advice to her fans by telling them that she recommended everyone try masturdating as it was a healthy part of life. The blonde urged her fans not to feel embarrassed and revealed that she actually had done this many times before but did not know what to call it until now.
King Edmonds’s purpose for sharing her date night was to embrace the act of self-love. The reality star wanted to prove that she could go out alone and enjoy time by herself as she also watched a movie and gave herself a face mask treatment. As for now, the Real Housewives of Orange County alum is taking each day in stride, especially since two of her former co-stars have been let go from the show leaving an opening for a possible return to the show.
