Last week, Google announced an AI-powered news feed for its Google app for Android and iOS. The new feed was supposed to be rolled out to Android users over the next few weeks. However, that rollout has hit a snag as Google with its rollout plans.
Since Google has started the roll out, many Android users have been complaining about their feed being completely blank when they try to access it by swiping right from their home screen. A Google spokesperson says that this is due to the deep integration of the new feed with the system and the home screen integration of Google Search. Google is working on a fix due to which the rollout will take slightly longer than usual. Ironically, the iOS version of the Google Search app is not affected by this issue since one needs to manually open the app to access the feed. Until Google finds a way to fix the problem, you can try and gain access to the new feed by manually opening the Google app on your Android device.
