The popular language translation app iTranslate has been completely reimagined for iOS 7. Just like iOS 7, the app is heavily gesture-based. Because the new version features so many new gestures, a tutorial has been added that walks users through all of the new ways to interact with their translations. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actors John Boyega and Oscar Isaac are not interested in reprising their characters for a Disney+ TV show. Security researcher Filippo Cavallarin has publicized what he says is a way to bypass the Gatekeeper security functionality of macOS. The bypass remains unaddressed by Apple as of last week’s macOS 10.14.5 release. Gatekeeper is a macOS security tool that verifies applications immediately after they are downloaded. This prevents applications from being run without user consent. When a user downloads an app from outside of the Mac App Store, Gatekeeper is used to check that the code has been signed by Apple....

In this paper I’ll introduce you code obfuscation and how we can deal with obfuscated assemblies when talking about reverse engineering. Update: Recode reports that Google and Apple are now out of the running to acquire Twitter. Twitter has been rumored to be searching for potential buyers since last month, but a new report out of Reuters today suggests that its negotiations could soon come to a close.
