The CW’s Riverdale is a bold new take on the Archie Comics cast of characters, by bringing the children’s series into the modern era with adult themes. This isn’t just another teen high school drama, as it is based around a murder mystery that encapsulates the entire town as residents struggle to find the real murderer before he or she strikes again. The familiar relationships that were implanted in the comics come to life while bringing a much-needed twist in each of these characters....

Riverdale showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa says Cheryl and Jason Blossom’s relationship was inspired by Flowers In the Attic. Riverdale has plenty of secrets brewing beneath its small town surface, but one of the smaller details that’s been eating away at viewers is the creepy-close relationship Cheryl shared with her late brother, Jason. In the pilot episode, the two went on an uncomfortably intimate boat ride, and later, Cheryl referred to him as her soulmate....

Universal announces their untitled Doctor Dolittle project, starring Robert Downey Jr., has been moved up more than a month. Downey Jr. completely turned his career (and the Marvel Cinematic Universe) around with 2008’s Iron Man, in which he played the titular role of billionaire-genius-playboy-philanthropist-superhero Tony Stark. His star has been on the rise ever since, as the actor has gone on to headline countless Marvel titles, including two Iron Man sequels and each of the ensemble Avengers movies....

Since the two have decided to go their seperate ways, he’s opened up has revealed when he realized his marriage to Teresa was over. Joe got in trouble with the United States government by avoiding taxes and spent some time behind bars. However, when he was released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement back on October 11th, he was then immediately flown back to his home country, Italy....

Many shows that lean on depth and intricate narratives often have their version of a “comic relief” character. In the case of the trippy sci-fi comedy that is Rick and Morty, most of the characters featured are humorous in one way or another. Yet, when it comes to Jerry Smith, Morty’s goofy father - who’s sort of the dimwitted “yin” to Rick’s genius “yang,” he can be considered more of what you might call “simpleton relief,” amidst a universe of chaos and complexity....

The MacBook Pro lacks many traditional external connection options, such as an SD Card reader or an HDMI port. In the place of all of those legacy ports resides two or more USB-C ports. USB-C is an uber-versatile form factor that will ultimately offer tons of flexibility in the future when it comes to external connections, but at this early stage in the game, the pickings are somewhat slim. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will finally be available to the public this Friday, September 19th, but early reviews of the two new devices have gone live this evening from several publications. The iPhone 6 is the biggest iPhone yet, coming in with a 4.7-inch display, while the iPhone 6 Plus packs an even larger 5.5-inch panel. Both of the models feature “Retina HD” displays. The internals of the devices have also been upgraded to include a new second generation 64-bit A8 chip that Apple claims is 25% faster CPU-wise than ever before and 50% faster graphically....

Will RocknRolla 2 - AKA The Real RocknRolla - ever actually happen? Guy Ritchie’s directing career has been anything but dull, and he burst onto the scene with 1998’s Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels, which also introduced the world to Jason Statham. Ritchie followed up with cult crime comedy Snatch, which was another guns and geezers romp that featured Brad Pitt and Benicio del Toro. Ritchie’s career would hit some turbulence with his two follow-ups Swept Away and Revolver, though, which both suffered horrid reviews and bombed....

On the speaker side of things, there isn’t a lot of improvement when compared to the last-gen Echo. The sound just feels a little bit fuller and bass is ever-so-slightly better. It’s still good to fill a moderately sized room though. If you have additional speakers lying around, you can connect the Echo Dot to make the experience better. Coming back to sound quality, the Echo has a 3” woofer and a 0....

That plastic is also responsible for some judging the headphones too harshly. Many people who saw them felt they looked a little on the cheap, plasticky side – we had the blue units for review, and to be honest, they did have a rather plasticky sheen to them. Some might consider them to be funky, but most people who saw them shook their heads at the design and at the fact that the earcups were not designed to seal out sound like other headphones (like Motorola’s Pulse Escape, which comes in the same price segment)....

The Guardian published a new report today that cited unnamed sources and throws around phrases like “not optimistic” and “unlikely event” in regards to Apple ever allowing a Google Maps iOS app. The story claimed Google’s app is ready to ship by the end of 2012, but Google is torn about the likelihood of Apple ever giving an official go-ahead: The Guardian specifically noted Apple’s reluctance to give Google Maps any attention in iOS....
