Rian Johnson says he may be able to direct another original movie before his new Star Wars trilogy moves forward. Ring is out today with an update to its Neighbors platform. Originally included in the Ring app, the company created a dedicated app called Neighbors by Ring. Announced in a blog post today, Ring detailed the changes to the popular Neighbors platform. Adding to recent reports that Google is working on iOS support for Android Wear devices, today The Verge reports that the company is “close to finishing the final technical details” on the companion app for iOS. The report cites sources close to the development of the project and also includes the image above showing a FaceTime notification on the LG G Watch R. Apple software has been available on Windows for years, including the popular iTunes — which has been discontinued on the Mac, but is still the main Apple Music client for Microsoft’s operating system. However, a new Apple app might be coming to Windows 10 this year. According to a report from the Italian website Aggiornamenti Lumia, Apple is getting ready to launch its next Windows app on Microsoft Store. The report is not clear on which app this is about, but it’s not hard to imagine a dedicated Windows app for Apple’s streaming services — Apple Music and Apple TV+....

Jennifer Hudson plays the late Aretha Franklin and belts out her iconic song, Respect, in the announcement trailer and poster for the upcoming biopic about the late Queen of Soul. Prior to her passing in August 2018, Franklin actually hand-picked the Oscar-winning Hudson to play her in the big screen treatment of her life, with Tracey Scott Wilson (Fosse/Verdon) writing the script and Liesl Tommy (Mrs. Fletcher) directing. For the first few months after purchasing my iPhone 6, I was a daily Apple Leather Case user. I picked up the case more out of convenience than desire, but I never truly felt it served my needs. The case felt weak, unsupportive, and more like a leather-wrap than a protective case. I’ve kept an eye out for other potential alternative leather cases, but could never find one I really loved....

And while I own both the Classic Buckle and Milanese Loop Apple Watch bands, I wear the simpler black Sport band on most days aside from a nice dinner or more formal occasion. Both are fine bands, but Classic Buckle can feel a bit too dressy with a t-shirt and shorts and Milanese Loop isn’t as comfortable as the other bands. For myself, I’ve found that there’s a space in between completely casual and totally formal for Apple Watch bands....

According to a new report by CompareMyMobile, nearly 38% of the customers who upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone recently were iPhone users. The numbers suggest that they saw a 210% rise in iPhone 4s trade-ins and a 184% increase in the trade-in percentage of the current Apple flagship, the iPhone 5s. While this figure fails to give out the exact sales figures, it certainly indicates that a fair bit of iPhone users have switched over to the Samsung camp....
