If there’s one thing guaranteed to eat your data plan’s allowance at an alarming rate, it’s streaming video. T-Mobile has been gradually adding more services to its Binge On program – which allows customers to stream lower-quality video from specific services without using up any of their data – and Re/code reports that Facebook video may be next in line. From the report, it seems as if agreement has already been reached and now what’s left to do is figure out the technicalities....

Outread is a new speed reader app for the iPhone that helps you read faster by highlighting short sections of text. Focusing on the highlighted section helps you efficiently and quickly move through the text. This differs from most speed reader apps in that they use a technique called Rapid Serial Visual Presentation, which presents one word at a time. Both of these speed reading techniques force the reader to stop reading out loud inside their head (subvocalization), which is what slows us down when we are reading....

As our families grow, so do our device charging needs. Where we just used to need 2 USB ports to charge our iPhones, we now have iPads, cameras, Bluetooth speakers, portable flashlight/batteries and even a few Android devices laying around that constantly need to be chargers. Our excellent 2-port ZaggSparq just couldn’t handle all of the stuff anymore. Time to step up to something more substantial. This week, a new Facebook chat client for iPhone was released that aims to address those complaints with a colorful interface and slick animations. That app is Bubble Chat. Bubble Chat is one of the most creative iOS 7 designs I’ve seen, leveraging the new OS’s physics to animate every transition and movement in the app....

While iOS and Android have for the most part caught up to one another from a software feature perspective, lack of a handy back button is still one of the biggest sources of embarrassment for iOS devices. BoxWave’s new glass “ClearTouch SmartButtons” screen protector has built-in buttons that aim to solve some of the back button issue on iPhones, so I took it for a test drive… Android has long had a system-wide physical or software “back” button, conveniently located in an easy-to-reach bottom corner that takes the user back to the last used screen....

The one thing that worries potential buyers is the design and build quality that are normally compromised in the quest to lower the pricing. Coolpad Note 3’s overall design is nothing great, but nothing shabby either. Coming at 9.33mm thickness and weighing close to 160 gms, the device is heavy but thanks to the curved edges and the contour on the back, it fits neatly into one’s palm. The baby skin finish on the back (as Coolpad names it) brings in a matte finish ensuring the heavy phone taken over by gravity is not slippery....

The reason why this handset pulled up so many controversies is because people were interested to knowing how can a company manage to sell an Android Smartphone at the price of Rs 251 which is less than $4. The Company Ringing Bells planned to deliver 25 lakh handsets before June 30, 2016. However, due to huge numbers of handset registrations before its payment, the gateway crashed withing three days. According to the reports, Ringing Bells had received more than seven crore registrations to purchase the handset....

After three pushes of the release date, Universal is making sure the film lives up to its hype, and added additional shooting dates in hopes the doctor truly can cure all. The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle follows unconventional physician Dr. John Dolittle, who discovers he can speak with animals. Based on a series of children’s books penned by Hugh Lofting, the character of Doctor Doolittle became an iconic name, with portrayals in film adaptations by actors Rex Harrison, Tim Curry and Eddie Murphy - who’s been declared the most popular Doolittle....

We first told you about the Nova wireless flash for iPhone last fall when it was merely an idea on Kickstarter having just collected enough funding to ship. Game of Thrones star Richard Madden is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Ikaris in this year’s Marvel epic, Eternals. Despite being the main character in all Eternals comics, Ikaris is still one of the MCU’s most lesser-known heroes, and a character that hasn’t received much exposure in Marvel Comics. Officially confirmed by Kevin Feige during Marvel’s panel at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con, Eternals will join a lineup of several other movies comprising Phase Four of the MCU, including the upcoming Spider-Man: No Way Home and Thor: Love and Thunder....

Riverdale is about to begin its fourth season on The CW and we’re hoping that the wacky adventures of these teens continue onwards for many more years. The series is based on the popular Archie comics but they take a decidedly darker approach then what you might be used to reading about. The second-generation AirPods and corresponding wireless charging case are still missing in action, but when they do finally launch, a certain Santa Barbara, CA-based company will be ready. Nomad, maker of mobile accessories for the iPhone, released its all-in-one Apple Watch + iPhone + AirPods charger a few months ago, obviously anticipating an update to Apple’s popular wireless earbuds. The Nomad Base Station Apple Watch Edition is currently sold out, but a source close to the company informed me that it expects units to be back in stock soon....
